Letter of Intent: Tellescom Semiconductors and the Government of Rio Grande do Sul
Tellescom Group is about to launch a new chapter with the opening of its semiconductor unit in Brazil, focused on the international market.
On June 24th, a Letter of Intent was signed with the Government of Rio Grande do Sul, involving the Secretariat for Innovation, Science and Technology (SICT), the Secretariat for Economic Development (SEDEC), and InvestRS. The agreement formalized the allocation of part of a land parcel located in the municipality of Cachoeirinha for sale to Tellescom, under the incentives provided by the State Program for Industrial Development (Proedi).
Tellescom Semiconductors will invest in cutting-edge technology, job creation, and the development of a highly skilled workforce. The new semiconductor facility will consolidate Brazil’s position as a key hub for production and innovation in Latin America, driving economic growth and the region’s digital transformation.
